Interpack 2020 Advisory Board Elects Slate of Officers
Christian Traumann, managing director and chief financial officer of Wolfertschwenden, Germany-based Multivac Sepp Haggenmüller SE & Co. KG and chairman of the Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Association within VDMA (Mechanical Engineering Industry Association), has been elected president of Interpack 2020. He previously served in that position during 2011.
Tapped as Interpack 2020 vice presidents were Markus Rustler, managing partner at Theegarten-Pactec GmbH & Co. KG, and Roland Strassburger, chief executive officer of Schütz GmbH & Co. KGaA. All officers were elected unanimously during a recent advisory board meeting.
The next running of the triennial processing and packaging show at the Düsseldorf fairgrounds in Germany will take place from May 7-13, 2020. Exhibitors and visitors may look forward to a completely re-designed south entrance with a new Hall 1. Starting in the summer of 2019, a new building will replace Halls 1 and 2, offering six conference rooms in addition to the exhibition area. It will be directly linked to the Congress Center South.
