Wild-caught lobster from Maine and red shrimp from Argentina are in the spotlight at Red Lobster restaurants in the USA as the Orlando, Florida-headquartered chain gears up its Holiday Seafood Celebration. The limited-time event features a special selection of dishes, cocktails and a seasonal dessert.

grand seafood feast 300Red Lobster’s Grand Seafood Feast features a wood-grilled Maine lobster tail with a white wine and butter sauce, a crab hollandaise-topped lump crab cake, a garlic-grilled red shrimp skewer and signature hand-crafted garlic shrimp scampi.Consumers seeking variety will be able to opt for the Grand Seafood Feast, which boasts four different types and preparations of seafood – a Maine lobster tail with a white wine and butter sauce, a crab hollandaise-topped lump crab cake, a garlic-grilled red shrimp skewer, and Red Lobster’s signature hand-crafted shrimp scampi.

Meanwhile, the menu’s Wild-Caught Lobster-and-Shrimp Trio features a wood-grilled Maine lobster tail topped with Norway lobster mac-and-cheese, paired with a garlic-grilled red shrimp skewer and panko-crusted red shrimp with Red Lobster’s classic cocktail sauce.

Those who prefer surf-and-turf dishes can savor Crab-Oscar Surf and Turf, which features the choice of wood-grilled sirloin or New York Strip topped with a mushroom demi-glace and paired with a crab hollandaise-topped lump crab cake.

Peppermint, a flavor often associated with the holiday period, is also featured in both a new dessert and a cocktail during the Holiday Seafood Celebration. The Peppermint Brownie Sundae offering is a warm brownie served with vanilla ice cream, topped with a chocolate peppermint sauce, whipped cream and crushed peppermint candy.
