Boulder Brands Rolls Out Gardein Skillet Meals for Two

Gardein, a plant-based protein brand available at retail stores, restaurants and school cafeterias across North America, has expanded its portfolio with the introduction of Skillet Meals featuring four recipes that marry faux meats with a variety of vegetables, grains and pastas in sauces that can be prepared in eight to ten minutes. Each 567-gram package is non-GMO project verified, certified vegan and dairy-free. The offerings are:

  • Asian Style Chick’n Fried Rice. Made with Gardein chick’n bites, broccoli, peppers, edamame and other ingredients in an Asian-style sauce.
  • gardein 1Chick’n Fiesta. A quick and easy plant-based spin on Mexican cuisine, this dish serves up a medley of veggies, beans and spices combined with savory Gardein chick’n bites.
  • Chick’n Florentino. This meatless variety of a classic Italian favorite is made with Gardein chick’n bites, broccoli and spinach in a creamy roasted garlic and lemon sauce.
  • Italian Style Rigatoni n’ Saus’age. Gardein’s plant-based version of a homestyle Italian meal offers a savory combination of pasta, peppers and onions along with saus’age bites and a rich marinara sauce.

The new Skillet Meals, which serve two persons, are currently available at select grocers throughout the USA and will continue rolling out to major supermarkets nationwide in the coming months.
