Day-Lee Foods’ Crazy Cuizine Asian-inspired frozen entrees and appetizers have achieved substantial distribution advances across grocery channels in the United States following the debut of Asian Bowls earlier this year. So far in 2018, the brand has secured new points of distribution for the single-serve, microwaveable bowls with Jewel-Osco, Hy-Vee, Albertsons, Safeway, URM Distributions, Supervalu, Bashas, Japan Foods Co., Sam’s Club and Bristol Farms.

The overwhelming retailer acceptance demonstrates a huge need for individually-portioned meals in the market, and we’re excited to be delivering on that need.”

According to Nielsen, the annual sales of retail frozen food products in the USA amounts to an estimated at $53 billion – and it’s growing as consumers turn to foods that are convenient and more affordable than takeout fare. Millennials are largely responsible for the increase and are spending nine percent more on frozen foods each shopping trip than other age groups, notes an RBC Capital Markets report. Bloomberg has also reported that consumers are turning to frozen meals as a way to control portions and reduce food waste.

In addition to Asian Bowls, Crazy Cuizine’s robust portfolio of convenient family meals boasts a variety of signature Asian recipes including Mandarin Orange Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken, Korean BBQ Chicken, General Tso’s Chicken, Sweet-Chili Chicken, as well as Chicken, Sriracha Chicken and Pork Potstickers.
