Latin Cuisine Flavor to Savor in Buen Sabor Frozen Range

Newburyport, Massachusetts, USA-based Buen Sabor has announced that eight new, all-natural products are now available in the frozen food aisles of major retail stores in 32 states across the country. Said to be the “first-of-its-kind,” the line of ready-made meals celebrates the diverse cuisine of Latin America.

“Buen Sabor products offer a convenient way to discover both old and new flavors of Latin American cultures, in a way that is exciting for today’s modern, health-conscious consumer,” said Yvette Marquez-Sharpnack, author of the Muy Bueno.

Buen-Sabor-Group-ShotThe launch of Latin American-style cuisine by way of frozen ready meals from Buen Sabor includes both traditional and contemporary recipes ranging from Baked Tamal with Chicken & Pipian Sauce to Beef Picadillo Empanadas, Spiced Turkey & Lentil Pastelon, Savory Chorizo-seasoned Rice with Cheese, and four more tasty offerings.

Each entree leverages traditional dishes, while infusing robust flavors and culinary techniques to serve up something entirely innovative, added the author. For example, the Pastelon de Pavo Picante y Lentejas (Spicy Turkey and Lentil Pastelon) is a one-dish meal of ripe plantains and turkey picadillo inspired from the kitchens Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.

  • Picadillo de Garbanzos y Comote (Chickpea and Sweet Potato Picadillo)
  • Tamal de Cazuela de Pollo en Pipian Rojo (Baked Tamal with Chicken and Pipian Sauce)
