Mars Debuts Dove Sorbet Bars at NCA Sweets & Snack Expo
Hackettstown, New Jersey-based Mars Chocolate North America introduced two new Dove Sorbet Bars, the latest in its range of frozen novelty treats, at the three-day National Confectioners Association (NCA) Sweets & Snack Expo in Chicago, which began on May 24.
Retailing at $4.95 per six-pack, each juicy sorbet is dipped in Dove chocolate. At 150 calories per snack-size bar, they're available in two flavors: Dove Strawberry Sorbet with Milk Chocolate and Dove Raspberry Sorbet with Dark Chocolate.
In 1911, Frank C. Mars made the first Mars candies in his Tacoma, Washington kitchen and established Mars' first roots as a confectionery company. In the 1920s, Forrest E.
