New Flavors Join Halo Top Non-Dairy, Vegan-Friendly Line
Los Angeles, California-headquartered Halo Top Creamery has unveiled seven new non-dairy and vegan-friendly pints of frozen confectionery that are hitting retail stores throughout the USA in February. Additions to the portfolio include two completely original offerings: Toasted Coconut and Vanilla Maple. They are being rolled out alongside Pancakes & Waffles, Birthday Cake, Candy Bar, Chocolate Almond Crunch and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, which have been transitioned from the brand’s established dairy range.
Made with coconut milk, the latest non-dairy flavors deliver on the decadent taste Halo Top is known for. The demand for dairy alternatives has increased significantly over the past few years, and these new treats are formulated to provide customers even more tasty treats to enjoy.
“When we launched our original line of non-dairy flavors, we knew we wanted to expand to include even more indulgent options,” said Justin Woolverton, the company’s founder and chief executive officer. “We know our fans look to us for variety and creativity, and we want to make sure we always address those requests for our dairy-averse and vegan customers as well.”
Named one of Time magazine’s “25 Best Inventions of 2017,” Halo Top has transformed the traditional ice cream category in North America. Having generated more than $324 million in sales that year, the company was ranked #1 among most successful consumer packaged goods (CPG) launches in the USA in the 2017 New Product Pacesetters report published by IRI, the Chicago, Illinois-based market research company.
The newest seven non-dairy flavors are joining the brand’s collection of 31 ice cream pints, including classics like Vanilla Bean and Chocolate, which complement other popular flavors such as Peanut Butter Cup, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Birthday Cake. Each of the non-dairy flavors ranges from 280-360 calories, with only 16-28 grams of sugar in the entire pint, which equates to four to seven grams of sugar per serving.
The new offerings are among seven other recently launched vegan-friendly flavors including Sea Salt Caramel, Oatmeal Cookie and Cinnamon Roll.
