Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream Packs Heading to Grocery Stores

Canton, Massachusetts-headquartered Baskin-Robbins and Lafayette, California-based Boardwalk Frozen Treats have announced a partnership to bring a range of packaged ice cream and ice cream bars to the shelves of major retailers across the USA this spring. The product line will feature classic ice cream, along with ice cream bars.

The new Baskin-Robbins 14 oz. ice cream packages will be distributed in 16 flavors, including Pralines ‘n Cream, Mint Chocolate Chip, Cookies ‘n Cream, Jamoca Almond Fudge, Gold Medal Ribbon, Butter Pecan, Very Berry Strawberry, Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter ‘n Chocolate, Nutty Coconut and Rocky Road, as well as rotating seasonal varieties such as Baseball Nut and Strawberry Shortcake. The brand’s ice cream bars will be available in classic Baskin-Robbins flavors such as Jamoca, Mint and World Class Chocolate.

Named the top ice cream and frozen dessert franchise in the United States by Entrepreneur magazine’s 31st annual Franchise 500 ranking, Baskin-Robbins is the world’s largest chain of ice cream specialty shops, with more than 7,300 retail outlets operating under its banner in nearly 50 countries. Since 1945 it has created more than 1,000 ice cream flavors. Last year the company, a unit of the Dunkin’ Brands Group, sold over13 million ice cream cakes worldwide.

Boardwalk Frozen Treats is Dunkin’ Brands’ sales, marketing and distribution partner for Baskin-Robbins ice cream and frozen treats sold in grocery stores in the United States.
