Country Range Adds to Holiday Desserts Menu Temptations

The Country Range Group is gearing up for the festive Christmas and New Year holiday season with the debut of three more frozen desserts for foodservice operators and caterers – St Clements Orange Bell, Chocolate & Raspberry Snowflake, and a Chocolate & Orange Bar Gateau. They are now available through the Altham, Lancashire-based company’s 13 independent wholesalers in the United Kingdom.

St Clements Orange Bell, distributed is units of 20 x 100-gram individual servings, is described as “a spin on a retro dessert, blending a zesty lemon mousse on a gluten-free lemon cookie base, filled with sweet orange cream, finished with orange zest.”

Country Range Gateau

Chocolate & Raspberry Snowflake (16 x 110-gram servings) is presented as a contemporary Christmas dessert featuring a chocolate sponge base topped with dark chocolate truffle and filled with raspberry compote. It’s finished with raspberries and white chocolate shavings.

Chocolate & Orange Bar Gateau (approximately 16 x 1.5-kg servings) is described as “a trip back to some classic Christmas flavors, combining layers of chocolate sponge with orange cream and brandy syrup.”

Martin Ward, trading director at Country Range, stated: “These new desserts not only look stunning, but also taste sensational too and are perfect for caterers looking to add some Christmas glitz and glamour to their menus. As the products are frozen they are ideal for kitchen personnel who don’t have the time to make their own desserts, while also helping to cut down on wastage.”
