Frozen Pizza Maker Ellio’s Adds Breadsticks to Retail Line

The launch of Ellio’s Breadsticks took place on March 6, coinciding with National Frozen Food Day in the United States. The portfolio addition is available in two flavors, Cheesy and Parmesan & Garlic, served on four-cornered crispy crust.

Mount Laurel, New Jersey-based Ellio’s, a unit of parent company Dr. Oetker USA, has been in the frozen pizza business since 1963. This brand extension boasts 100% real cheese and no artificial flavors or preservatives – same as all of the company’s pizza varieties.

Ellios BreadsticksFeaturing Ellio’s signature rectangular shape and one-inch wide breakable slices, the Breadsticks are crispy on the outside with a chewy inside. Twelve sticks come per box.

“The frozen food sector continues to grow year after year. We’re incredibly excited to expand Ellio’s presence in the frozen food aisle with this launch, which will be popular with both adults and kids,” said Bill Whalen, executive vice president of Dr. Oetker USA.

“Sticking with the brand’s signature shape and classic crust, we topped the product with cheeses and seasonings that perfectly melts and oozes as it cooks. Breadsticks are a staple in American restaurants, and now it’s even easier to bring them into the home. Simply unwrap and bake them in a conventional or toaster oven for eight to ten minutes, until the cheese is bubbling and the edges are slightly browned,” said Melissa Vesci, brand manager for Ellio’s Pizza.
