Brioche Pasquier Unveils Zingy Tartelette aux Framboises

Hot on the heels of recently receiving a Chefs’ Choice Award for its Citron Meringuée, Brioche Pasquier is introducing another patisserie tart. This time it is raspberries that take center stage.

Like the winning Lemon Meringue Tartelette, the Tartelette aux Framboises has a crisp, golden shortcrust pastry base at its foundation. The pastry is filled with rich crème pâtissiere and then piled with fresh whole raspberries.

Tartelette aux Framboises Brioche PasquierThe fruity, zingy flavor of this summery tartelette relies upon high quality ingredients put together with consummate skill by the company’s expert pâtissiers. There are no preservatives, artificial flavors or hydrogenated fats – just simple ingredients such as raspberries, butter and whole eggs.

“The finished effect is deceptively simple because creating a tartelette with this amount of precision, flavor and finesse is very skilled work,” said Jon Turonnet, foodservice sales manager. “The result is deliciously light and fresh and makes the perfect summer dessert. We find that chefs are looking for fruity desserts at this time of year, and the ease of serve offered by our range of frozen tartelettes means that busy kitchens can serve them with the minimum of skill and experience.”

Tartelette aux Framboises come in packs of five individual servings. They are baked and frozen immediately, so are preserved at their peak, and simply need defrosting and serving with an elegant garnish. The pastry base remains crisp, the raspberries retain their shape and flavor, and the finished dessert looks and tastes as if it was freshly made.

All Brioche Pasquier’s high quality pâtisserie products are made in France following traditional recipes, using classic French methods. Each tartelette weighs 110g and has an 18-month shelf life.
