Bradman Lake is getting ready to exhibit at PackExpo East, which is set for April 16-18 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. In high profile at Booth #1003 will be its top load line comprising a HS Double Head Lock Former and the IL120 Three Flap Carton Closer.

The incorporated packaging technology is promoted as an ideal semi-automatic top load carton forming, loading and closing system for customers interested in low initial capital investment, but will require full automation in the future. The system is integrated seamlessly with primary and tertiary equipment that can also be supplied by Bradman Lake.

Among benefits is fast, tool-free changeover in less than five minutes. This significantly reduces downtime and increases productivity for customers who run several different carton sizes.

The IL120 uses flexible carton control (FCC) technology that allows for cartons containing product of inconsistent size, protruding above the carton base, to be closed without jamming.

The robust system is built to meet the latest safety and hygiene standards required in the frozen food, bakery, confectionery, dry food and healthcare industries. It can be placed in a compact space to suit plant layout, and is able to incorporate narrow integral electrical cabinets with easy access.
