Bacon Seasoned Salmon Burgers, Dumplings Ready to Roll

Wild-Caught Pink Salmon Burgers accented with smoked bacon dry rub seasoning will be available under the Frontier Harvest Alaskan Jack’s label in USA retail stores starting this October. The launch will be simultaneous with the El Monte, California-based company’s debut of salmon dumplings.

Alaskan Jacks Smoked Bacon Flavored Salmon BurgerThe new salmon burger offering joins sweet mesquite and blackened heat rub versions of the product currently on the market. All are distributed frozen in individual four-ounce vacuum packs that come in units of four per 16-ounce (453-gram) box. Grill preparation time is eight to 10 minutes, while oven baking requires 18 to 20 minutes. The wholesale price is $3.29 per box delivered.

Rolling out at the same time this autum, as previously reported by FrozenFoodsBiz.com, will be fusion-flavored seafood dumplings in three varieties: Salmon Florentine, Lemon & Dill Salmon and Salmon & Chive.

Alaskan Jacks Salmon with Lemon Dill DumplingsMade of wild-caught Alaska pink salmon and all-natural, GMO-free ingredients, the line will be distributed in 10-ounce retail trays containing 16 pieces that will sell for approximately $5.99. Requiring just four minutes of cooking time, the dumplings can be eaten plain or with a sauce, such as Alfredo, marinara, soy or butter. They can also be turned into pot stickers after boiling by further sautéing and browning both sides in a skillet with cooking oil.
