Sint-Katelijne-Waver, Belgium-headquartered Greenyard Foods has announced that its chief financial officer, Koen Sticker, will leave step down on July 31. The search for a successor has been initiated.

Sticker, who joined the company in 2010 as head of business and project management analysis at its Univeg division, was appointed corporate finance director in 2011. He was promoted to the position of CFO at Univeg in 2013, and became chief financial officer of Greenyard Foods in 2015. In August of 2016 he will take up a new function as chief financial officer of Aliaxis, a Brussels-headquartered supplier of plastic pipes, fittings and other fluid handling components and systems.

“I am glad that I could contribute to the Univeg and Greenyard Foods success stories. The group’s entrepreneurial spirit has been most inspiring to me and encourages the pushing of one’s boundaries. The time has now come to seize a new challenge with another company in a different industry,” said Sticker.

Marleen Vaesen, chief executive officer of Greenyard Foods, commented: “We thank Koen for his contribution to the company’s growth and wish him good luck. We will fill the position as soon as possible, and continue to build Greenyard Foods into a unique global player in fruit and vegetables.”
