birdseye iglo findusgroupStefan Descheemaeker, chief executive officer of Nomad Foods Europe, commented: “We’re taking this opportunity to focus on bringing our Forever Food Together story to more consumers and customers through our brand strategy. To achieve this ambition, the role requires a more commercial profile, so I’m delighted that Caroline has taken up this new position. CSR remains at the heart of our business and we are committed to building on the strong foundations we have in place. I believe that Caroline is the right person to take Forever Food Together to the next, even more successful phase.”

Hajipieris, who held a number of senior roles with the company during the past eight years, was instrumental in promoting responsible sourcing and manufacturing, and crafting the sustainability program for Nomad Foods operations. His efforts resulted in sales of the largest range of MSC-certified fish products globally, activating the world’s first research to underscore the role that frozen food can play in reducing food waste, and driving healthier meal choices through innovation.

“Peter has done a great job creating our CSR model and embedding Forever Food Together across the company since he joined. I would like to thank him for his commitment and hard work,” said Descheemaeker.
