Anuga FoodTec to Spotlight Record Number of Exhibitors
The clock is ticking for Anuga FoodTec, which will open its doors at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany, on March 20. The four-day international fair for industrial food and beverage equipment will feature 1,700 exhibitors, many of whom supply the global frozen food industry.
"Anuga FoodTec will continue its success story. We will have a 13% increase in the number of exhibitors compared to the previous event," said Katharina C. Hamma, chief operating officer of Koelnmesse GmbH.
The organizer has increased its exhibition space in 2018 up to 140,000 square meters (+8%) in Halls 4.2, 5.2, 6 to 9, 10.1 and, for the first time, Hall 10.2.
Companies from more than 50 countries will present new products at the show. In addition, a wide-ranging congress and comprehensive event program are on tap.
With exhibition segments spotlighting food processing, packaging, safety and analytics, ingredients, services and solutions, Anuga FoodTec covers all aspects of food production. Exhibitors will present solutions for all branches of the food industry – from the fruit and vegetable sectors, to ready meals, dairy, meat and seafood, to pasta, oils, fats and more.
Traditionally, process technology is the most strongly represented section at the trade fair. Almost all of the market leaders and renowned companies from the industry will be exhibiting. In Halls 7, 8 and in parts of Hall 9, the focus will be on the theme "Food Packaging," and thus also on packaging machines, packing materials, automation and control technology. In Hall 5.2, visitors will find loads of information about food safety and quality management.
