Groundbreaking for Bridge Development Partners’ 241,140-square-foot convertible refrigerated/freezer warehouse northeast of Seattle-Tacoma Airport in Burien, Washington, took place on August 31. Design and construction of the facility, which will be operated by Western Distribution Services (WDS), is under the direction of Fort Wayne, Indiana-headquartered Tippmann Innovation (TI).

“We were able to leverage Tippmann’s distinctive knowledge base in developing this building. They helped us with all the design details optimized for the scale of what we wanted. Their experience with cold storage is well beyond that of a regular contractor. They are a high touch company that facilitates every aspect of a project,” said Steve Poulos, president of Chicago, Illinois-headquartered Bridge Development Partners.
