Janson Now Heads Up MTC Logistics; Royster Remains as VP

JansonAndrew B. Janson assumed the helm as president of MTC Logistics on April 1. He had held the position of chief operating officer since joining the Baltimore, Maryland, USA-headquartered company in June of 2018.

“I want to extend our congratulations to Andy. His operational experience, customer centric approach and positive leadership style exemplify the company’s ‘Warm Service, Delivered Cold’ spirit,” said Chairman Harry D. Halpert. “Secondly, I would like to thank Brooks Royster for his dedication and service to MTC Logistics and his years of service as president. We are pleased that he will remain with us, in charge of international supply chain solutions.”

RoysterBrooks RoysterHalpert added: “In his time as chief operating officer, Andy led the team through ‘Vision and Values’ exercises which will serve the company well as we open our newest international distribution center in Mobile, Alabama, and expand our transportation offerings.”

Janson has served in senior leadership roles throughout his 23 years in the temperature-controlled supply chain industry. As president of MCA, he will be responsible for providing strategic leadership as the company expands.

“I am fortunate to inherit a solid foundation from Brooks,” said Janson. “I look forward to working with him in his new role as vice president of international supply chain solutions, where he will continue to be a key resource for our new international distribution center coming online in 2020.”

MTC Logistics is the 17th largest refrigerated warehousing and logistics provider in North America, operating three distribution centers with more than 25,000,000 cubic feet of refrigerated and frozen space, serving the ports of Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Wilmington, Delaware. Additionally, its MLogistics transportation division offers LTL consolidation, full truckload management and port drayage services.
