New Chief Operating Officer at Henningsen Cold Storage
Paul Henningsen has been promoted to the newly created position of chief operating officer of Hillsboro, Oregon, USA-headquartered Henningsen Cold Storage Co. He will administer and coordinate internal day-to-day operational activities of the warehousing logistics company, and report to Michael Henningsen, president and chairman.
The chief operating officer joined the company in 1987, working in its engineering department. Serving most recently as vice president-corporate development and engineering, he was responsible for the development, design, construction and management of internal programs and all capital projects, acquisitions, expansions and engineering services.
Henningsen, who holds BA degrees in Electrical Engineering and Engineering Management from the University of Portland, is also president and chairman of Rose City Sand & Gravel. The subsidiary of Henningsen Cold Storage owns and manages various property and buildings in the Portland area.
Additionally, Henningsen is active in various industry associations, including the Global Cold Chain Alliance and the World Food Logistics Organization.
