OSI Group Adds Flagship Europe to Global Portfolio

The Aurora, Illinois, USA-headquartered OSI Group has acquired Flagship Europe from the Flagship Food Group of Denver, Colorado. The Hook, Hampshire, England-based foodservice supplier’s product line encompasses a wide assortment of items ranging from frozen poultry and meats to Oliver James pies, mini desserts, sauces, mayonnaise, marinades, herbs and spices.

Describing the acquisition as “another exciting and progressive development” for the company, Flagship Europe CEO Russell Maddock commented: “The increased resources that will become available to us, along with the access to new clients and global markets as part of the OSI Group, will strengthen our position in the marketplace, improve our proposition and open up new opportunities that will enable us to serve our customers better and support our already successful business.”

In business for more than 100 years, the company’s extensive product line runs the gamut from frozen beef patties and chicken to breakfast sausages, hot dogs, entrees, side dishes, pizza and much more.
