Tyson Pulls Buffalo Style Any’tizers Hot Wings from Stores

Tyson Foods, Inc. is voluntarily recalling 52,486 pounds of Tyson Any’tizers Fully Cooked Hot Wings Buffalo Style Chicken Wing Sections sold in 28-ounce retail bags in the United States. The affected product was distributed to retail stores nationwide.

Consumers who contacted the Springdale, Arkansas-headquartered company with complaints reported the product had an off odor. As this does not meet the producer’s strict quality standards, it is recalling all Tyson Any’tizers Fully Cooked Hot Wings Buffalo Style Chicken Wing Sections produced on October 24 and 25, 2015, at the company’s Pine Bluff, Arkansas plant.

tyson-recall-exampleEach 28-ounce bag affected in this recall bears the establishment code P-13456 above the heating instructions on the back of the bag and Product UPC 0 23700 01118 3, as well as date codes including 2975PBF05 or 2985PBF05. Additionally, each bag has a “Best if Used By” date of October 24, 2016, or October 25, 2016.
