Buffalo, New York-headquartered Rosina Food Products, Inc. has launched two new gluten-free items. They are formulated not only for consumers with celiac disease, but also to appeal to those who do not suffer from the nutrient absorption malady that affects approximately 1% of the US population.

Rosina MBs1“To make the choice easier on individuals who continue to look for different food options that do not contain gluten, we are offering gluten-free ravioli and meatballs,” said Russell Corigliano, president and ceo of Rosina.

The ravioli is being distributed under the Celentano brand in 13 oz. retail packages produced at the frozen food company’s pasta plant in West Seneca, New York. Featuring gluten-free flour imported from Italy, the product contains a delicately spiced ricotta cheese filling.

“We guarantee that it tastes just as good as our traditional stuffed pasta items, and encourage everyone at the table, not just those with a gluten intolerance, to try our gluten-free ravioli,” said Corigliano.

Rosina’s gluten-free oven-baked meatballs, distributed in 22 oz. packs, are made of 100% ground beef accented with spices and imported Pecorino Romano cheese.

“We believe that ingredients make the difference in all of our products. Whether baked, cooked on the stove top, or heated in a microwave oven, we guarantee a consistent flavor and texture each time,” said Frank Corigliano, Rosina’s executive vice president.
