DTI Sets Crisis Management Seminar for Sept. 9 in Berlin

For the third year running, the German Frozen Food Institute (Deutsches Tiefkühlinstitut, or DTI) has organized a “Crisis Management – Legal Framework and Dealing with Authorities” training seminar. It is scheduled for September 9, 10 AM to 4 PM, in the the Agri-food Sector House (HDLE) at Claire-Waldoff-Str. 7, 10117 Berlin.

The session will focus on legal implications in a crisis, particularly in regard to information responsibilities and communication with authorities and government officials at federal and provincial levels. Also addressed will be post-crisis legal consequences including damage claims.

All participants will receive a practical guide which has been jointly developed by AFC Risk & Crisis Consult and experts from the Deutsches Tiefkühlinstitut’s QM and PR Committee.

Founded in 1956 and headquartered in Berlin after being based in Cologne for many years, the DTI is a trade association that represents all links of the frozen food industry in Germany. Among its membership are leaders from manufacturing and marketing companies, ingredients and packaging suppliers, equipment designers and builders, warehousing and transportation providers, retail and foodservice operators, buyers, distributors, wholesalers, exporters and importers.
