Northwest Food Processors Expo and Conference Jan. 11-14

Representatives from many of the world’s leading food processing equipment suppliers and service providers will demonstrate their latest products and technologies at the Northwest Food Processors Association’s 101st Expo and Conference slated for January 11-14 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland.

Northwest Food processors associationThe annual gathering, promoted as the largest regional food processing trade show in North America, typically attracts manufacturers of frozen vegetable, fruit and potato products, as well as makers of snacks and other value-added food products. Attendees range from chief executive officers and plant managers to purchasing directors, production and quality assurance managers, engineers, sales/marketing managers, and production floor personnel. In addition, the expo draws a number of entrepreneurs, business development professionals, energy and sustainability experts, human resources managers, job seekers and students.

More than 20 conferences are on tap, as well as other information exchange sessions that will cover topics ranging from maximizing energy usage and sustainability, to operations and technical affairs, environmental concerns, enhancing business acumen, government and political issues.

Approximately 200 equipment makers have booked space to display systems and offer technical expertise at the show. Among them are TOMRA Sorting, BluePrint Automation, Urschel Laboratories, Meyer Industries, JBT FoodTech, Heat & Control, GEA Refrigeration, Heat & Control, Idaho Steel Products/Kiremko, Intralox, Key Technology, Lyco Manufacturing, Magnuson/CCM Corp, Baader North America, and Vanmark Equipment/GME International.
