Wave of Frozens Vie for Seafood Awards at Brussels Expo

Finalists for the Seafood Excellence Global awards competition have been announced by Diversified Communications, organizer of Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global, which will take place April 24-26 at the Brussels Expo in Belgium. As always, frozen products are well represented.

The competition recognizes the best seafood products represented at the exposition. All entries entered for the competition will be displayed during the three-day trade show at the Seafood Excellence Global stand P-4619 in the Patio section of the fairgrounds.

Fisher farms deboned milkfishThe winners will be announced during an awards ceremony and reception on April 24 in Auditorium 2000, from 18:15 until 20:00 at the Brussels Expo.
Two grand prizes will be awarded for the Best Retail Product and the Best Hotel/Restaurant/Catering (HORECA) Product. Five special awards will be presented for innovation, convenience, health and nutrition, retail packaging and seafood product line.

This year’s 40 finalists, representing 17 countries, were pared down from 78 entries. They are:
