Alaskan Jack’s Seafood Corporation has just launched a premium extension of its value-added frozen salmon products. The Frontier Harvest Alaskan Jack’s Gold range consists of two new additions to the brand family, both utilizing premium wild-caught sockeye salmon. One is accented with a fusion blend of pineapple-teriyaki marinade, while the other features a Caribbean Jerk dry rub seasoning combination of red and black pepper, thyme and allspice that delivers a sweet-spicy kick. Each 284-gram package contains two fillets.
“We are very pleased with the continued support we are receiving from retailers embracing the Frontier Harvest Alaskan Jack’s line of products, and our brand will be in distribution throughout the Lenten period (February 10 – March 26, when fish consumption is higher than usual in North America),” said Steven Chen, president and chief executive officer of El Monte, California-headquartered company. “We remain committed to the expanded line offerings as we initially planned in our brand strategy, and have additional species and flavors yet to launch in 2016. This has been critical in our successful strategy to promote repeat purchases, and drive additional sales into the category.”
The Frontier Harvest Alaskan Jack’s Gold additions come on the heels of expanded offerings in autumn of 2015 when a 340-gram assortment of line-caught Pacific Cod products debuted featuring three flavors: Herb Butter (marinade), Chili Lime (dry rub), and Sriracha (dry rub).
Summer Grilling Products
In addition to cod offerings and the launch premium Gold Sockeye products, Alaskan Jack’s Seafood Corporation has also introduced a number of summer grilling products aimed at promoting a consistent drive for frozen sales beyond the key Lenten season. Among them are 453-gram four-packs of Blackened Heat and Sweet Mesquite Salmon Burgers. Additionally, there is an assortment of 566-gram whole Keta Filets infused with blackened heat, citrus pepper and Louisiana-style dry-rubs.
