The British Frozen Food Federation (BFFF) has announced that entries are open for the 2026 edition of the British Frozen Food Awards, the United Kingdom’s premier showcase of quality and innovation in the frozen food sector. Now in its 37th year, the competition shines a spotlight on the products, people and businesses driving standards and creativity across retail and foodservice sectors.

Products are judged by panels of consumers and professional chefs, ensuring that both taste and market impact are at the heart of the results. Categories cover every corner of the industry, from bakery and desserts to savory meals, fish, meat and beverages.

Rupert Ashby, chief executive of the BFFF, stated: “The Frozen Food Awards are a highlight of the industry calendar, recognizing the excellence and innovation that continue to fuel growth in this sector. Each year the quality of entries goes from strength to strength, and I look forward to seeing the products that set the standard for 2026.”

The 2025 Awards crowned winners including Marks & Spencer, itsu, Daregal and Destiny Foods. With entries for 2026 now open, the Federation is calling on producers, brands and suppliers across the frozen food chain to put forward their best new products.

Retail entries close Friday November 28, 2025, while foodservice entries close on February 13, 2026. For full details on how to enter, visit: https://bfff.co.uk/british-frozen-food-awards-2026/
