Mr Chen’s, the leading Asian frozen dumpling brand in Australia, entered the United Kingdom market on September 7 at Tesco stores. The six-product range, which includes steamed buns and wontons in addition to dumplings, all priced at £4.25 per pack, includes: Honey Soy Chicken Dumplings, Pork & Chive Dumplings, Shanghai Soup Dumplings, Prawn Hargow, Prawn Chive Wonton, and BBQ Pork Buns.
Produced by Clayton South, Victoria-headquartered Chen Foods, founded in 1982 by Peter Chen, the Asian cuisine enterprise is run today by the founder’s daughters, Lucy and Nancy Chen. The company specializes in producing, importing and distributing high quality frozen dumplings, frozen meals, sauces, marinades, meal kits, egg noodles, rice noodles and other products.
