In a first-of-its-kind collaboration, two popular brands from CJ Schwan’s — Red Baron frozen pizza and Bibigo Foods, a top name in Asian‑style cuisine — are joining forces to bring a fusion of flavor to Kroger store freezer aisles in the USA.
Launching in early February, the limited edition Korean BBQ‑Style Pizza combines the signature convenience and quality of Red Baron classic crust pizza with the on‑trend, globally inspired taste profiles that have made bibigo foods a category leader. Toppings include marinated beef, carrots, caramelized onions, green onions and a melty blend of mozzarella and cheddar cheeses.
“Our innovation teams were excited to merge these two beloved brands and create something truly unique for our customers,” said CJ Schwan’s Marketing Vice President Federico Arreola Carrazco. “This collaboration brings together the delicious crunch of our Red Baron Classic Crust and the vibrant Korean BBQ‑style flavors consumers love from Bibigo.”
Headquartered in Marshall, Minnesota, CJ Schwan’s, manufactures and distributes a wide range of frozen products for the retail grocery and foodservice markets. In addition to Red Baron and Big Daddy’s pizza, it produces bibigo Korean-style dumplings (mandu), entrees and fried rice dishes, and Pagoda brand egg rolls, crab rangoon and cream cheese wantons.
