Lamb Weston’s 19mm Triple Cooked Chunky Chips, the latest variant to be added to its Stealth range, have been awarded the “Approved Product” accolade from the Craft Guild of Chefs in the United Kingdom. The gluten-free coated fries are made exclusively with potatoes sourced from UK farmers.
The panel of highly regarded culinarians, chosen by the Guild for their industry expertise, put the chunky chips through rigorous testing to determine their suitability, quality and overall product excellence with the resulting “Approved Product” status serving to promote confidence in purchasing decisions by foodservice operators.
Lamb Weston’s 19mm Triple Cooked Chips, its longest cut yet, have been on the menu of one of the UK’s highly popular steak restaurant chains for a while. Now they are now set to launch into the wider foodservice market to satisfy growing demand for British produce and the desire among consumers for elevated quality when dining out.
The panel of chefs was extremely impressed with the overall quality, flavor and appearance of the chips, which was reflected in the range of comments, which included:
