UK Distributor Central Foods Adds to Technical and Sales Departments

Collingtree, Northampton, England-headquartered frozen food distributor Central Foods has strengthened its team with three new appointments. Anna Ciszewska has been hired as technical controller, while Stacey Kitchener and Josh Johnston have been appointed as sales executives.

Central Foods is a catering partner across the whole foodservice sector, supplying hotels, restaurants, bars, universities, schools, pubs, care facilities, cafés and other sectors. It currently sells to over 250 independent wholesalers, as well as larger national and regional wholesalers in the United Kingdom, with a range that includes meat and poultry, desserts, baked goods vegan and vegetarian products, buffet and afternoon tea items.

Before joining Central Foods, Ciszewska spent ten years working in food safety and technical compliance, leading teams and building systems that keep products safe. Kitchener previously worked in sales, while Johnston has experience working in the foodservice sector in Corby.

Central Foods was established in 1996 as a consolidator for the frozen wholesale market servicing the hospitality sector. The company supplies market leaders Bidfood and Brakes, as well as large wholesale buying groups such as Caterforce and Country Range and smaller independent wholesalers, while also directly servicing large end-user multinational companies.
