White Castle is broadening the availability of its Cheddar Bacon Cheese Slider to more supermarket and grocery freezer aisles across the USA via new standalone retail packaging in multiple pack sizes.
The quick service restaurant operator first introduced the Cheddar Bacon Cheese Slider last year as part of a retail variety pack available only in Walmart stores. The product proved so popular that White Castle introduced it in January as a stand-alone item at CVS stores across America. Albertsons, Safeway and other grocery outlets began selling the Slider this month, and in April it will be available in Dollar General stores nationwide.
The Cheddar Bacon Cheese Slider features 100% beef and savory steam-grilled onions topped with a slice of cheddar-flavored cheese made with real bacon pieces, all served on the chain’s signature fluffy bun.
“We are constantly keeping a pulse on the flavors consumers find most indulgent and satisfying, and bacon continues to top that list,” said Sarah Paulson, the Columbus, Ohio-headquartered company’s director of retail marketing. “With the Cheddar Bacon Cheese Slider, we’re delivering the smoky, savory flavor shoppers love, making it available in more stores and offering multiple pack sizes that make it even easier to enjoy White Castle at home.”
The Cheddar Bacon Cheese Sliders are offered in a variety of package sizes, giving consumers the flexibility to choose the quantity that’s right for them. They continue to be featured in the Cheese Slider Variety Pack, which also contains Jalapeño Cheese Sliders and Classic Cheese Sliders.
