Checkers & Rally’s, a Tampa, Florida-headquartered drive-thru quick service restaurant chain operating approximately 850 units in 28 states and Washington, DC, on February 7 announced the launch of fry-seasoned chicken tenders. Available at outlets across the USA beginning February 21 and inspired by the popular seasoning from the “#1 Most Craveable Fries in America,” as named by Restaurant Business‘ 2020 Technomic Ignite Consumer Data, the menu addition features white meat chicken crispy coated in the signature fry seasoning and offered in three-, five- and eight-piece combo meal sizes.
Prior to the rollout and in conjunction with National Singles Awareness Day on February 15, Checkers & Rally’s is giving away a free “single” tender with each purchase at participating restaurants, while supplies last.
“Given the incredible popularity of our #1 Most Craveable Fries in America, we’ve decided to double down and take our legendary fry seasoning to new heights with our first-ever fry-seasoned chicken tenders,” said Frances Allen, president chief executive officer of Checkers Drive-In Restaurants.
