Tipiak has launched a 36-piece Vegan Canapé Selection for the United Kingdom foodservice market, designed to help add variety, visual appeal and plant-based choice for customers.
Presented in a recyclable tray, the new offering from the Malville, Pays de la Loire, France-headquartered party food and pâtisserie specialist brings together six vegan bites featuring a mix of flavors and textures:
• Falafel-style bites with lemon sauce, chives and mint
• Corn and flax seeds crackers, guacamole, parsley
• Tomato, piquillo and bell pepper tartlets
• Vegan blinis, coconut bean tartare, lemongrass and coriander
• Carrot cakes, Indian-style carrot delight, sesame seeds
• Hazelnut shortbread, beetroot and raspberry hummus, hazelnut slivers
The debut comes as operators look to widen plant-based choice products, with 31% of UK consumers saying high-protein products made with plant-based protein are more appealing than animal protein and 54% frequently exploring new and unique cuisines and dishes when eating out, according to Bidfood Food and Drink Trends data.

Supplied frozen and distributed in the UK by Central Foods, the 400-gram selection contains three dozen pieces weighing approximately 11 grams each and requires just four hours of defrosting time. This makes it well suited for drinks receptions, banqueting, event catering and other foodservice environments where consistency, portion control and speed of execution matter.
“Plant-based canapés need to do more than meet a menu requirement. They have to look inviting, offer flavors guests will enjoy and work practically for caterers under service pressure,” said Marie-Emmanuelle Chessé, international marketing manager at Tipiak.
She added: “With the Vegan Canapé Selection, we wanted to bring together vibrant presentation, globally inspired flavors and a variety of textures in a format that is simple to prepare and easy to serve, while keeping back-of-house complexity to a minimum.”
