The Ferrero Group is recalling specific batches of frozen Nutella Croissant and Nutella Muffin products in Belgium, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Romania, Spain and the United Kingdom due to concern that some of the baked goods may contain metal pieces. In the UK, only Nutella Croissant packs are impacted.
Food safety authorities have been informed in the respective countries, and Ferrero is coordinating with customers and partners to ensure the effective recall of the impacted products from the market. Consumers who may have purchased the affected products are asked not to consume them and return them to the point of purchase for a refund.
