Tampa Bay Fisheries is recalling two lots of frozen 365 Whole Foods Market Beer-Battered Cod Fillets and one lot of Beer-Battered Pollock Fillets packed under the same private label. The action was prompted by the Dover, Florida-based supplier’s failure to declare soy allergen content on product packaging.

The cod fillets were distributed in 12-oz cartons and 32-oz bags bearing UPC code 9948249803, Lot #32508201, and a Best By date of 03/07/2025. The pollock fillets were packed in 32-oz bags with a UPS code of 9948249803, Lot #32508201, and a Best By date of 03/07/2025.

People who are allergic or have a severe sensitivity to soy run the risk of serious or life threatening allergic reaction if they consume the products, which were distributed to Whole Foods Market stores across the USA from Sept. 9 to Dec. 22, 2023. No illnesses have reported as of December 27.

Shoppers allergic to soy who bought the items detailed above should not consume the fillets. A full refund will be offered to persons who bring a valid receipt to stores. More information is available by contacting Tampa Bay Fisheries at +1 800-SEAFOOD.
