IACSC Elects New Officers and Board Members

The Alexandria, Virginia, USA-headquartered International Association for Cold Storage Construction (IACSC) on December 19 announced that Wade Hudson, president of Cold Storage Construction Services Inc., was elected as its the 2013-2014 chairman of the board of directors.
Other officers were: Erik Gunderson, executive vice president of Primus Builders, vice chairman; and Brian King of AM King Construction in Charlotte, treasurer.

“Under the leadership of the outgoing chairman, Janet Madden Charles, the association has made great strides to increase membership, expand resources, and enhance its impact”, said Hudson. “As the new chairman, I look forward to working with the other officers and the members to build upon those successes.”

Newly-elected members of the IACSC board of directors include: Marko Dzeletovich, president of Coldbox Builders; and Vince Free, project manager at SubZero Constructors, Inc.

The following members were reelected to serve an additional term on the board: Peter Bartell, vice president of RHH Foam Systems Inc.; Jeromy Craig, Western regional director of Metzger/McGuire; Bryan Doss, project manager at Trinity Insulation Company; Tim Nguyen, regional vice president of ESI Group; Jay Smith, vice president of sales at Metl-Span; Jake Stefan, vice president of ARCO Design/Build; Nick Steine, ceo and president of Steine Cold Storage, Inc.; and Chuck Zimmermann, vice president of Sales at Enviro Cold Storage Doors.

Founded in 1978, the IACSC represents contractors and suppliers in the cold storage construction industry. It provides a forum for innovative ideas, promotes standards of practice, hosts professional education programs, and advocates for the interests of the industry in political, legal and regulatory arenas. The organizataion has members all over the world and is a core partner of the Global Cold Chain Alliance.
