Time keeps moving on, and for Cosmic Bliss, the premium, organic ice cream brand formerly known as Coconut Bliss that is part of the Austin, Texas-headquartered HumanCo portfolio of brands, the time has come to disrupt the frozen desserts category by launching an organic, sustainably-sourced, humane grass-fed dairy line. It is expanding offerings to include flavors devoid of anything synthetic or artificial across both organic plant-based and organic grass-fed dairy ice cream portfolios.

Recognizing that 97 percent of ice cream sold in the United States is dairy-based, Cosmic Bliss set out to create a sustainable line of products that credibly addresses those who still eat and want real, responsible dairy food. In doing so, it aims to achieve greater environmental impact and positively affect more consumers than other ice creams on the market.

With an emphasis on taste and texture, all Cosmic Bliss recipes specify high quality, certified organic, clean ingredients. In assuring extra creaminess, no air or water is mixed into the formulation, which thus  results in a thicker, denser and richer ice cream. All products are certified organic, gluten-free, non-GMO project verified, and contain no soy, sugar alcohols or artificial sweeteners.

“We are working hard to make healthier and more sustainable living more widespread and more approachable for everyone. While many companies are engineering man-made and synthetic plant-based solutions, we looked to nature and farms and sought to make wholesome, sustainable practices more accessible to consumers looking for a clean label, organic and sustainable option,” said Jason H. Karp, founder and chief executive officer of HumanCo.

The new assortment features seven 14-ounce pints that have a suggested retail price of $8.99 each. Flavors include Twisted Cookie Dough, Peanut Butter Blitz, Hazelnut Fudge Crunch, Strawberry Lemon Shortbread, Banana Caramel Flambé, Vanilla Bean Nirvana and Chocolate Euphoria. All are now available at Sprouts, Wegmans, Erewhon Stores, and Natural Grocers retailers nationwide, with the range rolling out nationwide throughout March.
