Evesham, Worcestershire-based Dawn Foods UK has further expanded its line of vegan thaw-and-serve baked goods with the launch of a vegan finished frozen donut.
Available in two classic shapes – a glazed ring and a jam-filled ball – the donuts have an artisanal, handmade appearance with a light crumb structure to provide a soft eating experience.
Both products are covered with non-sticky glaze, which guarantees bakers and caterers easier handling once thawed. This glaze also enables the donuts to be sold in packaging without the worry of smudging.
Dawn’s new Vegan Donuts, which are made with no artificial flavors or colors, defrost in just two hours and are ideal for bakers who wish to capitalize on the flexitarian eating trend.
