Double Victory for Tanmiah in 2026 Product of Year Awards Competition

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia-headquartered Tanmiah Food Company’s new Frozen Breaded Chicken range and Taste Secrets Fresh Marinated Shaqra Pepper Chicken Breast Fillet made with chili pepper cultivated in the Shaqra region northwest of Riyadh, are both winners of Product of the Year Gulf (POY) 2026 awards.

Product of the Year is the world’s largest consumer-voted award awards event for product inventiveness and creativity. Established in 1987 in France, POY now operates in over 40 countries, with winners selected through independent national surveys conducted by leading research agencies such as NielsenIQ. Selection of winners is based on product total score (PTS) performance, calculated from consumer responses across three key criteria: innovation, attractiveness and purchase intent.

Tanmiah’s Frozen Breaded Chicken line sets a new benchmark in the category by being the first made entirely from 100% Saudi-raised chicken. The range also showcases standout innovation through its PLUS line, featuring a vegetable-infused coating that delivers the equivalent of two-thirds of a cup of vegetables per pack, offering added nutrition without compromising flavor. In addition, Tanmiah has introduced a variant inspired by bold, trending Korean cuisine, tailored to evolving local preferences.

The second winning entry highlights the company’s ability to blend innovation with cultural authenticity. Made from 100% Saudi chicken breast, the ready-to-cook marinated product introduces the distinctive flavor of Shaqra pepper, an ingredient deeply rooted in Saudi culinary heritage.
