Value-added poultry products, including the Seara brand Perfect Cuts range developed especially for the halal food market, are among a raft of innovative offerings being showcased at the JBS S.A. stand during the five-day Gulfood exhibition running through February 25 at the Dubai World Trade Center in the United Arab Emirates.
The line, which features hand-cut chicken parts that are ideal for preparing traditional Middle Eastern recipes, now also includes SKUs packed in convenient consumer trays of different sizes. In addition, Seara offers a 100% Natural range that is available across several supermarkets in the Middle East. It was first commercialized in Brazil as Seara DaGranja.
On the waterfront, the Seara Fish range of products includes Tilapia Fillets, Salmon Chunks and Salmon Steaks that are ASC-certified, vouching for the sustainability of the production chain and traceability from origin. New launches include the Paella Kit, Mussels, Squid Rings and four Shrimp options, one of them breaded.
In the red meat department, the Friboi portfolio has added Black Friboi exclusively featuring Angus beef products. Friboi Farms beef cuts emphasize flavor and a lower fat content. The brand is also presenting Halal-minded consumers with the 1953 Friboi Gourmet hamburger. Four times taller than conventional burgers, it has no artificial preservatives and contains no spices.
