Kidfresh, the brand known for kid-friendly frozen meals made featuring hidden vegetables, is expanding beyond lunch and dinner this fall with four new products. Launching in Target store freezer aisle across the USA in October, the lineup includes Egg Bites & Potato Tots, Mac & Cheese Bites, Blueberry Mini Muffins and Chocolate Chip Mini Muffins.
“Parents aren’t just figuring out dinner. They’re solving for breakfast, packing lunch boxes and looking for snacks their kids will actually eat, while also wanting choices they feel good about serving,” said Michael Allen, chief executive officer of New York City-headquartered Kidfresh. “In the morning they are managing time, and in the afternoon, they’re managing hunger. We’re here to provide a solution for both.”
Descriptions of the products are detailed below.
• Mac & Cheese Bites: Kidfresh’s award-winning mac and cheese gets a new format with crispy, bite-sized pieces that are cheesy on the inside. Boasting mozzarella cheese, pureed butternut squash and fava beans, the bites provide 10 grams of protein per serving and are also a good source of calcium.
• Egg Bites & Potato Tots Easy Combo: This Easy Combo concept makes its debut at breakfast, pairing kid-friendly egg bites and potato tots in one convenient meal. Made with cage-free eggs and cheddar cheese, the egg bites feature pureed butternut squash, while the russet potato tots have hidden pureed cauliflower and navy beans. The breakfast provides 14 grams of protein per serving.

• Blueberry Mini Muffins: Made with blueberries, banana and pureed butternut squash, this product delivers five grams of protein per serving and 35% less sugar than the leading brand.
• Chocolate Chip Mini Muffins: Featuring chocolate, banana and pureed butternut squash, the muffins offer grams of protein per serving and 45% less sugar than the leading brand.
