Brusco, a Olidor Group food ingredients specialist based in Evesham, Worestshire, England, has named Mark Armstrong (pictured above at left) as its new managing director. He assumed the helm on November 18, replacing Andrew Ashby (pictured at right) who had held the position since acquiring the business in 2015.
Armstrong most recently served as managing director of Nutrisure, a UK superfood brand and ingredients company. His professional experience includes working as sales director of Orchard Pig Cider, heading sales at Nelsons and spearheading the launch of sugar-free Red Bull into the British market.
“I am delighted to be joining Brusco,” said Armstrong. “For many years I’ve driven customer-focused growth strategies for various brands within the food industry. I look forward to bringing new ideas to the company and working together with our valued customers.”
With Armstrong’s hiring, Ashby has taken on the role of chief executive officer for Olidor Group Ltd. In addition to Brusco, Olidor’s portfolio includes Karimix UK Ltd, The Original Baker Ltd, Porter Foods and The Artful Baker.
