McCain Foods is partnering with the Chicago Cubs baseball franchise to sell its SureCrisp Fries at most Wrigley Field concession stands this season. In celebration, Summer Fry Days will take place at every Friday home game from April 18 through September 26, during which time lucky fans in one section of the ballpark will be given free fries.

Additionally, on Summer Fry Days fans may visit the new McCain SureCrisp Fry House at Gallagher Way where they can enjoy crispy fries delivered every few minutes along with interactive games and fun just steps from the stadium.

“We know there’s nothing like the crack of a bat, the roar of the crowd – and the perfect fry in your hand. That’s why we’re proud to bring our game-changing SureCrisp Fries to Wrigley Field. They stay crispy longer, so fans can focus on cheering for the Cubs, not rushing to enjoy their favorite foods,” said Tracy Hostetler, McCain’s vice president and head of North American potato marketing. ”

Throughout the season, McCain and the Cubs will also introduce additional limited-edition loaded fry creations during each home stand. Beyond the ballpark, the SureCrisp Fry House will be popping up where Chicagoans naturally congregate this summer, from street festivals to outdoor movie night events.

Now available in 10 different cut styles, SureCrisp Fries are among McCain’s most popular product lines. Unlike traditional fries that quickly lose their crunch under warming lamps or in a driver’s delivery bag, the special batter of SureCrisp Fries locks in crispiness for up to 30 minutes after preparation.
