Beetnik Foods, an Austin, Texas, USA-based frozen food producer specializing in organic, gluten-free, grass-fed beef and chicken entrées, has launched new packaging designed to showcase its product line in a more eye appealing format and better convey benefits to health-conscious, on-the-go consumers. The new packaging began appearing on retail store shelves in September.
The company aims to improve on shelf presence and further enhance overall appetite appeal while leveraging the USDA Organic label in a more prominent space. Redesigned packaging emphasizes the flavor profile of the meals with an open color palette to provide differentiation quickly on shelves and in freezer cabinets.
The family business is also underscoring its commitment to sustainability with the introduction of a fully recyclable paperboard tray. The sleeve has been designed to use less material than conventional frozen food packaging.
“Our new packaging has been a work in progress for our team for quite a while,” said CEO David Perkins. “We want to share the authenticity of our products in an appetizing, sustainable and eye-catching way.”
