‘The Eyes of Texas’ Will be Upon AFFI and FMI’s Frozen IQ Event June 3-5

The American Frozen Food Institute (AFFI) and the FMI Food Industry Association (FMI) have announced their partnership in co-hosting Frozen IQ, whch will take place June 3-5 at the Worthington Renaissance in downtown Fort Worth, Texas.

The event, promoted as a “convergence of frozen food and retail leaders in North America,” is tailored for leaders in the industry, encompassing CEOs as well as professionals in operations, sales, management, food safety, R&D, and beyond. Retailers including category managers of frozen department and above are encouraged to participate in the gathering, which offers education, thought leadership, and networking opportunities.

The goal of the three-day gathering is to further drive innovation, address a transformative regulatory environment and optimize consumer engagement in the frozen food sector. According to the 2023 Power of Frozen in Retail, the frozen food category continues to gain momentum in retail, ranking fifth behind dry grocery, meat, produce and dairy for total sales.
