The Secret is the Sauce, and Esca Will Soon be Sharing Condipresto at SIAL

Esca, ranked as Italy’s leading producer of frozen seafood mix with sauce for pasta and rice, is looking forward to greeting SIAL 2022 visitors in Paris at Stand N 249 in Hall 5A from October 15-19.

Founded in 1968 by the Patrizi family, one of the company’s greatest milestones was reached in 2021 with the successful launch of Condipresto frozen seafood sauces, which are easy to heat in a pan and serve with pasta, rice or gnocchi in just eight minutes.

Esca’s white wine or tomato-based sauce is prepared from scratch on site in Controguerra, Teramo, using only natural ingredients and strictly following traditional Italian recipes. The selected seafood mix is added on top, deep frozen with sauce at -40°C, sealed in a skin pack and enclosed in an outer window pack for distribution to retail outlets throughout Europe and beyond.

“The end result brings all the flavor of an authentic seaside restaurant meal to everyone’s table,” proclaim’s Esca’s PR department.

And plenty is brought to the table, as every year approximately 20,000,000 units are produced for supermarkets, hypermarkets and discount stores, in both original packaging and private labels. The wide range of offerings includes Pronto Scoglio al pomodoro (Seafood and Shellfish Medley in Tomato Sauce) and Mare e Monte (Seafood Medley in White Wine Sauce over Mushrooms).
