The J.M. Smucker Co. has added a few new products to its Uncrustables Sandwiches range: Higher Protein PB&Js, Uncrustables Bright-Eyed Berry Sandwich and Uncrustables Up & Apple Sandwich. Designed to meet the morning needs of busy consumers, each option delivers 12 grams of protein per sandwich, making for the highest protein offering in the Uncrustables portfolio and across widely distributed PB&Js.

In addition to the protein boost, the new SKUs now available in 8-count boxes retailing for $10.46 at Kroger, Walmart and Target stores in the USA, feature more fiber and whole grains, supporting a better balanced start to one’s day without compromising on taste or convenience.

The launch features two tasty flavors: Bright-Eyed Berry – Peanut Butter & Strawberry Jam Sandwich; and Up & Apple – Peanut Butter & Apple Cinnamon Jelly Sandwich.

“We’re redefining what it means to be a morning person by helping consumers start their days in a more delicious and convenient way,” said Chris Achenbach, marketing director at Orrville, Ohio-headquartered J.M. Smucker Co. “As traditional breakfasts give way to whatever you can grab, sip or snack on first, Uncrustables is ready for them. This launch is about delivering real satisfaction. In the midst of morning chaos – where time is short and routines are unpredictable – Uncrustables steps in with unmatched flavor and function.”

The products are individually wrapped and ready to enjoy straight from the freezer – no prep required. Each sandwich features creamy peanut butter paired with fruit jams or jelly, delivering 12 grams of protein in every bite.

These new additions complement Uncrustables’ existing line of Grape, Strawberry, Honey, Raspberry, Chocolate Flavored Hazelnut Spread, Reduced Sugar Grape, Reduced Sugar Strawberry and seasonal limited-edition flavors. All of the soft bread products contain no high-fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners, or colors.
