Urschel Announces Change in Sales Management Roles of O’Brien, Major

Industrial food cutting technology specialist Urschel has announced new roles for two key members of its corporate sales leadership organization. 

Tim O’Brien (pictured above at left) has moved to the position of North American sales director, where he is focusing on strategically strengthening sales initiatives in the United States and Canada. Alan Major (seen above at right) moves from directing Urschel International European offices to heading the company’s global operations in the role of chief sales officer.

Founded in 1910, Urschel is headquartered in Chesterton, Indiana, USA. The 100% employee-owned company designs and manufactures a wide line of food processing machinery including ranging from high capacity slicers and dicers to shredders and milling equipment. Its customer base, which is global in scope, includes producers of frozen vegetables, fruits, meats, ready meals and other products.
