Uncrustables, the J.M. Smucker Co. brand known for crustless sandwiches, has announced that its entire portfolio is now officially fridge-friendly — giving consumers the flexibility to choose how to store the products at home. They can be kept safely in the refrigerator for up to five days for grab-and-eat convenience, or placed in the freezer for longer-term accessibility.

While Uncrustables will continue to be sold in the freezer aisles of supermarkets and other grocery stores, they can now be enjoyed straight from the refrigerator at home with no waiting time required.

“Our fans have been clear: they want Uncrustables ready whenever they are,” said Jess Fair, marketing vice president at Orrville, Ohio-headquartered J.M. Smucker. “Making our full lineup fridge-friendly gives consumers the opportunity to store Uncrustables in their refrigerator at home after purchase, which means less waiting and more enjoying. You can skip the wait and get straight to the good part – ready when you are.”

What’s Changed? Not the sandwich, just the wait. Uncrustables still feature soft bread baked daily without artificial preservatives. The brand’s growing range of flavors includes Peanut Butter & Strawberry, Peanut Butter and Grape Jelly, Chocolate Hazelnut Spread, Burstin’ Blueberry and more.
